Arloe Jean Peterson

Arloe Jean Peterson, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born Oct. 25, 1928, in Carrington, N.D., the daughter of Edmund and Alma Christenson Hollingsworth. She was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fayetteville; in Bismarck, N.D., she was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, the Quilting Club at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bismarck, N.D., and volunteered at Bismarck Hospital. Survivors include her husband, Orville Peterson of the home, to whom she had been married for 58 years; her children, Diane Reed and husband, Carlos, of Greenland, Ark., Darrin Peterson of Greenland; three grandchildren, Christopher Reed and wife, Courtney, Christin Reed and fiance, Devin Flaspohler, Trisha Peterson; and one great-grandson, Kameryn Twogood; her twin sister, Ardys Iverson and husband, Roscoe, of Janesville, Wis. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013, at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fayetteville, with Pastor Clint Schnekloth officiating. Burial will be in the Fayetteville National Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Beard's Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville.
