Jesse W. Lee, 73, of Farmington passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at his home. He was born Aug. 8, 1940, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Robert and Lillie Lee. Jesse Lee lived his years on earth buying, selling, traveling, singing, helping others and loving his friends, family and the Lord. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, James Paul Lee; brother, Herschel Lee; sister, Hazel Pinkston. He was raised in Chireno, Texas, and graduated from Chireno High School in 1958. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Linda Lee of the home; two sons, Kenneth Lee of Farmington, and Philip Lee and wife, Melany, of the Philippines; three daughters, Karen Thomas and husband, Steve, of Wellsville, Kan., Jeane Lee of Lowell and Brenda Sager of Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, Candice Lee, Robert Lee, Savannah Lee, Danielle Smith, Cori Sager, Shawn Thomas, Nicole Lee, Michelle Thomas and Chelsea Brown; four great-grandchildren, Taylor Waldrep, Jusslyn Matteson, Charlie Brown and Abbigail Lee; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Beard's Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville, Ark., with the Rev. John Hassell officiating. Burial will be held at the Round Mountain Cemetery.
