Helen Stavseth

Helen Stavseth, 78, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice House in Bentonville. She was born Aug. 12, 1935, in Fouke, Ark., the daughter of Aggie Sanders and Thomas Kirvin. She enjoyed reading, painting, and fishing. She was a member of the Woman's Bass Fishing Club. She was a successful real estate agent, holding licenses in California, Texas and Arkansas. She had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area since 1982 after moving from Houston, Texas. After moving to Fayetteville, Ark., she owned and operated the Motor Lodge Motel for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of nine years, Gus; and nine siblings. Helen is survived by: one daughter, Deanne Del Pup of Bella Vista; and one son, Rudi Del Pup of Austin, Texas. Visitation will be at Bella Vista Assembly of God Church on Monday from 9 a.m. until service time. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. at the church with Pastor Mark Kelley officiating, Doyle Cook, and Pastor Mark Kelley. Interment will follow at Bella Vista Cemetery.
