George Rogers

George Rogers, age 66, of Witter, Ark., died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, in Springdale. He was born Sept. 11, 1947, in Fayetteville, Ark., the son of George Spencer Rogers Jr. and Louise Kimball Rogers. He was preceded in death by a son, Chris Rogers; a grandson, Josh Rogers; and a sister, Joyce Rogers. He was a retired physical therapy assistant at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Fayetteville. He served in the United States Navy. He is survived by a daughter, Angie Hobbs and her husband, Bryan, of Bryant, Ark.; three grandchildren, Autumn Glenn of Fayetteville, Ark., Grant Glenn of Huntsville, Ark., and Ashley Glenn Smith of Ozark, Ark.; one great-grandson, Arlin Smith; an aunt and uncle, Sally and Jerry Delozier; and friend, Donnie Holland.
