Shelly Chandler

Shelly Chandler, 50, of Bentonville passed away Oct. 21, 2013, in Bentonville. She was born Dec. 26, 1962, in Wichita, Kan., the daughter of Jack L. and Joyce Helm Hastings. Shelly was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Bentonville. She is preceded in death by her father. Survived by her two sons, David Smith and wife, Kayla, of Rogers and Matthew Smith of Bentonville; her mother, Joyce Hastings-Loftis of Bentonville; two brothers, David Hastings and wife, Noy, of Bentonville, and John Hastings and wife, Stacy, of Shiloh, Ill.; one sister, Sheryl Bishop and husband, Brad, of Parker, Colo. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at Cave Springs Cemetery, with Reggie Phillips officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N.
