Max Brannan

Max Brannan, 71, of Fayetteville passed away Monday, Oct. 21, 2013. He was born, Sept. 6, 1942, in Tribune, Kan., to Floyd and Jessie Minnick Brannan, the youngest of seven boys. Max was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Marjorie; three brothers, Robert, Harold and Jimmy; and a grandson, Casey Herring. He is survived by brothers, Donald, Jack and Darrel; his six children, Cindy Taylor of Fort Smith, Janice Herring and Gayla Raney of Fayetteville, Mark Brannan, Joyce Brannan and Michael Brannan, all of West Fork; 17 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Mount Comfort Cemetery, Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at 2 p.m., with Pastor Dennis Brannan officiating and under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Brannan, Michael Brannan, Timothy Taylor and Caleb Taylor. The family requests that memorials be made in his name to Willard Walker Hospice Home, 325 E.
