Olan D. Douthitt Sr.

Olan D. Douthitt, Sr., 73, of Bentonville, passed away Oct. 20, 2013, in Bentonville. He was born Jan. 3, 1940, in Bentonville the son of James Lester and Pearl Myrtle Ennis Douthitt. He retired from Tyson Foods. He is preceded in death by his wife, Willadean Elizabeth Douthitt. Survived by his children, Olan D. Douthitt Jr. of Bentonville, Ruby Gibson of Bentonville, Melissa Douthitt of Jonesboro and Sandra Law of Magnolia; his brother, Nolan Douthitt of Fayetteville; his sisters, Patty Frye of Dumas, Texas; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at Benton County Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Ward officiating. Private interment will follow in the Ruddick Cemetery east of Garfield. Visitation will be Monday 5 to 7 at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. Fourth St., Rogers.
