Kenneth M. Freeman

Kenneth M. "Griz" Freeman, 64 of Lowell, Ark., passed away Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, in Springdale. He was born Aug. 11, 1949, in Fayetteville, Ark., to Johnny and Margaret (Woodring) Freeman. He was a carpenter, a gardener, 32-degree Mason, hunter and was a member of Calvary Freewill Baptist Church in Springdale. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Patty Freeman; one daughter, Kristy Stone and husband Brian of Lowell, Ark.; two brothers, Johnny J. Freeman of Douglasville, Ga., Ralph Freeman of Springdale, Ark., and one granddaughter, Chloe Stone. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct. 22, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Clark Snow officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale.
