Ruth Epperson

Ruth Epperson, 78, of Fayetteville, Ark., died Oct. 18, 2013, at Washington Regional Medical Center at Fayetteville, Ark. She was born Jan. 23, 1935, at Witter, Ark., the daughter of Clarence Amos and Sara Ann Petree Jordan. She was retired from Campbell Soup and was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Lisa Epperson of Springdale, Ark., one brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Vida Jordan of Wesley, Ark.; three sisters, Bertha Brown of Independence, Mo., Ava Burdick of Springdale, Ark., and Vergie Murphy of Fayetteville, Ark.; one grandson, Grant Epperson of Springdale, Ark., and one granddaughter, Lauren Epperson of Springdale, Ark. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with the Rev. John Martin officiating. Interment will be in the Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net at Huntsville, Ark. Pallbearers will be Jack Herring, Jim McChristian, Darrin Spurlock and Herby Jordan. Honorary pallbearers will be Ken Epperson and Grant Epperson. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the family present.
