Darlene Eloise Miller

Darlene Eloise Miller, 81, of Bentonville, Ark., passed away Oct. 15, 2013. She was born Nov. 1, 1931, in Orchard, Colo., to Oscar Jones and Francis Langley Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Carl Jones, Morgan Jones and Donald Jones; and her sister, Pauline Frailey. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Albert Leroy Miller; one daughter, Christine E. Kronkow and her husband, James, of Bentonville; two sons, Clifton L. Miller and wife, Kalyn, of Neosho, Mo., and Timothy R. Miller of Rocky Comfort, Mo.; one brother, Oscar Sylvester Jones and wife, Ruby, of Huntsville, Ala.; one sister, Patsy Terry and husband, Wayne, of Greeley, Colo.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She graduated from Boulder High School and married Leroy on June 25, 1950. She lived in Colorado until 1979, when she and Leroy moved to Neosho, Mo. They moved to Bella Vista, Ark., in 1997, then to Bentonville, Ark., in 2007. Darlene was a loving wife and mother who was very talented, and created many beautiful paintings, quilts, wall hangings, wedding cakes and various other creations. She was a member of the Bella Vista Art Club, Rippers Club and the Bella Vista Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family and planned many events for them to spend time together. Memorial service is planned for Oct. 21, 2013, at the First Baptist Church of Bentonville, Ark., at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 900 N.E. Verdant, Bentonville, AR 72712. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Crematory and Funeral Home.
