Cara Fisher

Cara Fisher, 62, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Ark. Cara was born March 21, 1951, in Commerce, Okla. She was preceded in death by her father, JD Helmick; and brother, Kirby Mac Helmick. She is survived by her mother, Mary Jane Helmick; and brother, Corbin Helmick of Miami, Okla.; her husband, Chris Fisher; her daughters, Rachel Keith and Jessie Fisher; and son, Will Fisher of Bella Vista, Ark.; and numerous friends and family. She was an avid gardener, quilter, dog-lover, and had an infectious sense of humor. She had a master's degree in finance administration from Webster University and spent the last 12 years of her career working for the Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland in Joplin, Mo., and the Girls Scouts Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas, formerly known as NOARK Girl Scouts Council, Fayetteville, Ark. A reception will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at the Paul Thomas Family Center, 1527 N. Main St., Miami, Okla. The address at Cooper is 504 Memorial Drive, Bella Vista AR 72714. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at the Mildred B. Cooper Chapel, 504 Memorial Drive, Bella Vista, Ark. Memorial contributions may be made to Bella Vista Animal Shelter, 32 Bella Vista Way, Bella Vista, Ark., 72714. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W. Walnut, Rogers.
