Annette Marie Brown
Annette Marie Brown, 72, of Rogers, Ark., passed away Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Ark., after a lengthy illness. She was born Sept. 18, 1941, in Harvey, Ill., to Frank Hula and Fannie Polizza Hula.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Durwood Brown; and her great-grandson, Jakob Blain.
Annette is survived by one daughter, Deborah Radtke; one son, Jeffery Radtke, both of Rogers; her sister, Patricia Rouen and brother-in-law, Raymond Rouen, of North Carolina; three grandchildren, Ryan Blain, Heather Radtke and Kyle Radtke, of Rogers; three great-grandchildren, Lexi O'Neal, Colby Radtke, and Michel Blain, of Rogers; seven nieces and three nephews in North Carolina.
Annette was a member of Peace Lutheran Church of Rogers since 1980 and active in the church choir. She also helped in church activities where ever needed. Her faith in God was a great comfort to her.
Annette was talented in many things: interior decorating, especially during her favorite holiday-Christmas. She had a great passion for gardening and her prize-winning landscapes. Regardless of what was planted in her garden, it turned out beautiful. Annette also loved cooking and baking for her family and friends.
Memorial Services will be at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, at Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers.
