Johnie Franklin Graham

Johnie Franklin Graham, age 90, of Hindsville, Ark., went to meet his Lord on Sept. 29, 2013, in Springdale. He was born Sept. 19, 1923, in Nob Hill, Ark., the son of Jolly Eugene and Nellie Gibson Graham. He attended the Pentecostal Church of God, and was a carpenter and a farmer. Mr. Graham enjoyed fishing, in any kind of weather, telling stories about noodling and gigging fish, and hunting for Indian artifacts. He was preceded by his parents; his wife, Lavaughn Graham; two brothers, Howard Eugene Graham and Glen Allen Graham; and one sister, Lola LaVelle Watkins. He is survived by two sons, Tommy Graham and his wife, Mindy, of Springdale and Jack Graham and his wife, Connie, of Hindsville; four brothers, Cecil Graham of CleElum, Wash., Lawrence Graham of Easton, Wash., Paul Graham of CleElum, Wash., and Joey Graham of South CleElum, Wash.; two sisters, Roberta Sizemore of Springdale and Joyce Patterson of Anderson, Mo.; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Sonora Cemetery, with the Rev. C.H. Doss and Ronnie Ellenbarger officiating, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Rocky Graham, Michael Graham, Russell Graham and Rodney Graham.
