Duane Earl Rousseau, age 48, of Rogers passed from this life into the arms of his Savior on Monday, Nov. 18, 2013, after a valiant battle with cancer. Duane was born in Austin, Texas, on March 2, 1965. He lived his life for Christ and worshipped with his beloved church family at First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Bentonville. Duane worked as a medical technologist, and enjoyed bringing joy and laughter to his patients, friends and family. Duane is survived by the love of his life, Patricia; and his beautiful daughters, Sydney and Nora. Other survivors include his parents, Elvin and Judy Rousseau of Atlanta, Texas; sisters, Laurinda Burks and husband, Stephen, of Plano, Texas, Susan Fitzgerald and husband, Jimmy, of Henderson, Texas, Mendy Waid and husband, Bryan, of Fort Worth, Texas; mother-in-law, Judy McKinney of Rogers; sister-in-law, Katrina Kluzik and husband, Don, of Alexandria, Va. "Uncle Bubba" will also be missed by his nieces and nephews, Macey, Shelby, Christopher, Hope, Matthew and Luke. Visitation will be 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013, at First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Bentonville. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Terry Simmons. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Welch Cemetery near Henderson, Texas. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, should be made to benefit the family, care of First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Bentonville.
