Alandrus Gray Barnes

Alandrus Gray Barnes, 50 of Rogers, Ark., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, in Springdale, Ark. She was born Dec. 6, 1962, in Jasper, Texas, to Vida Hadnot, and was raised by her adopted parents, James and Mary Gray. She was an LMSW Oncology Social Worker at Hope Cancer Resources, and an alumni of the University of Arkansas Graduate School of Social Work, and a member of the National Association of Social Workers, and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Inc., and a member of Restoration Church in Fayetteville. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Gray, and one brother, George Little. She is survived by her husband, Rodney Barnes; one daughter, Brianna Barnes of the home; one son, Luke Barnes of the home; and two brothers, Jimmy Little and Phillip Jones, both of Jasper, Texas. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Nov. 19 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. A second visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 22, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Robinson Funeral Home in Jasper, Texas. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at Evergreen Baptist Church in Jasper with Rev. Leday officiating. Burial will follow at Indian Creek Cemetery in Jasper.
