David Wayne Mowry

David Wayne Mowry, 74, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice Legacy Village, Bentonville. He was born March 11, 1939, in Oklahoma City, Okla., to Floyd and Geneva Mowry. Dave retired from AT&T in Oklahoma City after 30 years service, and he and his wife, Katherine, moved to Bella Vista, Ark., in 1998. He was an active member of the Bella Vista Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 30 years; son, Mike Mowry of Edmond, Okla.; son, Larry Mowry of Marlow, Okla.; daughter, Suzanne Doss of Coweta, Okla.; son, Gerald Harper of Arlington, Texas; sister, Darlene Holler and husband, O.J., of Grand Junction, Colo.; niece, Jayne Haskell of Colony, Okla.; niece, Teri McHargue of Grapevine, Texas; nephew, Russ Holler of Monument, Colo.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Services will be held Monday, Nov. 18, at 2 p.m. at Bella Vista Church of Christ, 989 N.W. McNelly Road, Bentonville, Ark., with Randall Caselman officiating. Visitation will be that Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church. Graveside service will be on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 2 p.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 8801 Northwest Expressway, Oklahoma City, Okla., also with Randall Caselman officiating.
