Earnest W. Fant

Earnest W. Fant, age 73, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, November 7, 2013 in Fayetteville. He was born October 12, 1940 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, the son of the late JD Fant and Trudie Wilson Fant. At the time of his death he was currently an Associate Professor of Industrial Engineering at the University of Arkansas. He served in the United States Army and the Texas National Guard. He was an active member of Central Baptist Church in Fayetteville, beloved of his family, beloved of God and accepted by in the Beloved, his Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. He is survived by his wife, Georgie Fant; a daughter, Laura Hoisington and her husband Jeff of Stillwater, Oklahoma; a son, John M. Fant and his wife Phyllis of Hackett, Arkansas; a sister, Tanya Berkley of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; a brother, Jim Fant of Roland, Oklahoma; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 2 p.m. - 4 p.m., Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Moore's Chapel. Graveside service will be 2 p.m., Tuesday November 12, 2013 at The Fayetteville National Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Chapel. Memorials may be made to Thru the Bible Radio Network, P.O.
