Mack Leonard Stanley

Mack Leonard Stanley, 80, a resident of Prairie Grove, died on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at his home. He was born June 3, 1933, in Prairie Grove, the son of Vernon and Lizzie (Tyree) Stanley. He attended school in Cove Creek and Prairie Grove, Ark. He proudly served his country, serving in the Army division. In 1955 he married Lavonne Marie Beattie, and together they had 4 children, Steven, Debra, Brenda, and Mark. Mack worked extremely hard his whole life primarily in agriculture. A unique soul, Mack was very funny, loved animals, and enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He will be greatly missed. Mack is survived by his 4 children, 9 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Mack was predeceased by his wife, Lavonne. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 3-4 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, 10 a.m. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove.
