John F. Orndorff

John F. Orndorff, 67, of Bentonville passed away May 22, 2013, in Bentonville. He was born Jan. 9, 1946, in Washington, Iowa, the son of George Foster Orndorff and Dorothy Fae O'Rear. John owned and operated Orndorff Monument Company in Bentonville since 1986, and was a former volunteer fireman and chief with the Highfill Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed car shows, classic cars, especially '56-'57 Chevy's, fishing, and spending time with friends and family. He was a friend to many people. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Joyce Orndorff; his beloved daughter, Kelly Orndorff; his mother, Dorothy O'Rear; and sister, Polly Brandt. Survived by his devoted stepdaughter, Toni Henderson and husband, Harvey; one brother, Billy; three sisters, Barbara, Kay and Vicky; four grandchildren, Blake, Ashley, Logan and Dusty; his mother-in-law, Thelma Kuykendall; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
