Warren Elmer Porter, 56, of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013, in the arms of his three children. He was born Feb. 18, 1957, in Crane, Texas, and was the youngest child of Bud and Mary Patton Porter. Warren was a sound technician for the University of Arkansas and an interior designer. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Patton Porter and his nephew, Diron Joquin Porter. His loving survivors include his father, Bud Porter, of Webb City, Mo.; his children, Misty Hobbs and husband, Brian of Lavaca, Ark., Amber Reed and husband, Chris Reed of Sprindale, Ark., and Jaron Porter and wife, Jamie of Bentonville, Ark.; three brothers, Larry Porter and wife, Genell of Webb City, Roger Porter and wife, Carolyn of Afton, Okla., and David Porter and wife, Jeanne of Webb City; one sister, Susan Jackson and husband, Lynn of Evanston, Wyo.; five grandchildren, Britton J, Bryce, Abby, Evelyn Jane and Isaiah; and a dear and loving friend, Sheryl Trailer. Warren was a true and devoted friend, a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, father and GrandDaddy. He loved to laugh in the company of his friends and family, watch his grandchildren play and call the Hogs. He lived his life exactly how he wanted and will be truly missed by all who knew him. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Trinity Fellowship in Fayetteville. His children wish to thank Circle of Life Hospice for their tender care.
