Lucille Catherine Bullock

Lucille Catherine Bullock entered her eternal reward on May 10, 2013, after a full life of 92 years. She was the third oldest of 11 children born to Joseph Eckelkamp and Marie Elizabeth Massmann in Marthasville, Mo. Four siblings survive her. She married Robert V. Bullock in 1943. They were married 48 years before his passing. Together they raised three children, Catherine Koch of Fayetteville, Ark., Robert Bullock Jr. of Pleasant Hill, Calif., and Elaine LaPointe of Quincy, Mass. Lucille dedicated her life to her family and extended family. Caring for others was never a burden to her. Likewise, sharing her talents with others was a privilege. Her children always knew she was going to be a volunteer in all their school activities during their educational years. They were always so proud to be her children. She will be remembered by many for her warm, gentle smile. Other family members involved in her life were sons-in-law, Jeffery LaPointe, William Koch; and daughter-in-law, Aurora Bullock; grandchildren, Jeannette Bullock, Jennifer LaPointe, Nicole DeMong, Justina Tate and Gerrit Koch; and great-grandchildren, 21-month-old twins, Dylan and Brielle DeMong, and expecting two more in June and November. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fayetteville on Wednesday, May 15 at 1 p.m. by Fr. John Antony. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. John the Evangelist Church in Lawrence, Kan., with interment in Oak Hill Cemetery at a later date. Nelson-Berna Funeral Home of Fayetteville, Ark., handled the cremation arrangements. To sign the online guestbook, please visit www.nelsonberna.com.
