Anna M. Collins Alsip

Anna M. Collins Alsip, 83, of Centerton passed away May 10, 2013, in Bentonville. She was born Sept. 2, 1929, in Clayton, Okla., the daughter of Leonard and Genie Mitchell Flatt. She formerly worked at Overstreet Jewelry in Bentonville, and enjoyed collecting antiques and attending auctions. Anna was a member of the Bentonville Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Bruce Collins; two sisters, Ludene Henn and Reba Jewell Ralston; and one brother, Wayne Flatt. She is survived by her husband, Glenn Alsip of the home; two sisters, Oleta Burnett of Bella Vista and Allene Yeager of Tahlequah, Okla.; and 12 nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at the Bentonville Cemetery, with Mr. Walton Hook officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th St., Rogers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bentonville Church of Christ building fund.
