Jimmie Jefferson Bond

Jimmie Jefferson Bond, 88, a resident of Lincoln, passed away May 7, 2013, in Fayetteville. He was born March 24, 1925, in Prairie Grove, Ark., the son of John Wesley and Rebecca Barker Bond. Jimmie was preceded in death by his companion, Clara Mae "Herbie" Bateman; four brothers, Lloyd, Luther, Charlie and Henry. Survivors include two daughters, Anetta Harrell and her husband, Terry of Yukon, Okla., and Belinda Longwith and husband, Nick of Prairie Grove; six grandchildren, Heather Watson, Matt Longwith, Jennifer Hayes, Candace Wesoloski, Jennifer Hillman and Brent Harrell; 12 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by Margaret and Troy Curtsinger, Kandy, Barrett, Scott and partner, LaDonna Coker, John and wife, Tonya and their families. The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Thursday at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2013, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove.
