Audrey Belle Weathers Springston

Audrey Belle Weathers Springston, 89, of Springdale died Saturday, March 23, 2013, at her home. She was born Aug. 19, 1923, in Kingston, Ark., to B and Minnie Weathers. Audrey was a homemaker and also worked for the Springdale Public Library. She was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Justin Gene Springston; four brothers, Eddie Combs, Vernon Weathers, Sam Weathers, Ralph Weathers; and one sister, Alice Dean Banks. Survivors include four sons, Randy Springston, Rodney Springston and wife, Barbara, Paul Springston, and Gene Springston and wife, Linda, all of Springdale; one daughter, Kay Springston of Marietta, Ga.; five grandchildren, Gena Neil, Angie Detring, Aaron Springston, Amanda Springston and Kristin Springston; three great-grandchildren, Taylor Myers, Jacob Springston, Kaydie Springston; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Spring Creek Cemetery in Springdale with Rev. Louis Dewitt officiating. No public visitation is planned.
