Robert Spencer Franklin, 22, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed from this life to his eternal home on Monday, March 18, 2013. Spencer was joyfully welcomed into this world by his loving family on Feb. 8, 1991, in Fayetteville, Ark. As a child, he invited Jesus to be his Savior at First Baptist Church, Springdale, Ark. He has now been freed from earthly pain and struggles and rests in God's presence, receiving joy and life that cannot be taken away. Spencer attended Rogers High School. He enjoyed fishing, camping, bowling, snowboarding and expressing his artistic gifts. He is survived by his parents, Shelly and Randy Robbins of Rogers, Ark., and Dorian Earl of Alexander, N.D.; one brother, Wyatt Robbins; two half-sisters, Jessica Johnson and Miranda Earl of Tahlequah, Okla.; grandparents, Bobbie Jo and Billy Joe Wilson, Perry and Shirley Franklin, Bobbie and George Robbins, Nanna Duncan; and numerous relatives. He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Geneva and Robert Neff, and Margie and Raymond Clifton. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, at Round Mountain Missionary Baptist Church, east of Fayetteville, under the direction of Moore's Chapel. Burial will be in Round Mountain Cemetery. The family request that, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the Robert Spencer Franklin memorial fund at First Security Bank, 1219 East Joyce Blvd., Fayetteville, AR 72703.
