Linda Sue Cornog

Linda Sue Cornog, 62, of Rogers, Ark., died Friday, March 15, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers. She was born Sept. 17, 1950, in Albany, Ky. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially with her grandchildren. She was an avid reader, collected roosters, and loved making jewelry and other crafts. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church for many years. She had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area for over 40 years after moving from Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 36 years, Allen Cornog in 2008. Linda is survived by two sons, Michael Cornog and his wife, Christia, of Rogers, Matthew Cornog of Rogers and his fiance, Kelly; one daughter, Makesha Walker and her husband, Cary, of Rogers; two brothers, Bobby Riddle and Billy Jenkins; two sisters, Brenda Jenkins and Glenda Minnick; nine grandchildren, Callie, Noah, Breanna, Faith, Emma, Andrew, Matthew, Sophie and James. A celebration of her life will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church in Rogers. Inurnment will be at Benton County Memorial Park.
