Marvin L. Copeland, 79, of Chidester, died March 8, 2013 in Shreveport, La. Born in Crossett, Ark., he was blessed with a wonderful family in life. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda Southerland Copeland of Chidester; seven children, Jeffery Wayne of Mississippi, Jerald Mark of Arkansas, John Calvin of Louisiana, James Lee of Louisiana, Marvin Ray of Louisiana, Russell Francis of Mass. and Shirley Ann of Massachusetts; 18 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren and all the many loved children who have been part of our family.
