Mone Chaisouang

Mone Chaisouang, 74, of Springdale, Ark., passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013, in Springdale, Ark. She was born Sept. 12, 1938, in Pakse, Laos, to Moon Darasy and See Kongmanivong. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Sommay Chaisouang; two sons, Max Kongmany of Springdale, Ark., and Ong Chaisouang of Jacksonville, Ark.; four daughters, Emily Saravane, Malissa Norsavanh, Taylor Selby, all of Springdale, Ark., and Boupha Wills of Aiea, Hawaii; one sister, Khamphong Ithivongkham of Springdale, Ark.; one brother, Inpone Darasy of California; and numerous grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, March 14, and Friday, March 15 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 16, at Elmdale Baptist Church in Springdale with Dr. Intha Chanthavongsouk officiating.
