Fred R. Jack

Fred R. Jack, 56, of Seligman, Mo., passed away Friday, March 1, 2013, in his home. He was born March 15, 1956, in Fort Wayne, Ind., to Fred and Hollis Richardson Jack. After 20 years in the U.S. Army, Fred retired and attended police academy in Camden, Ark. In December of 1997, he joined the Bethel Heights Police Department, until 2002 when he was elected mayor. In 2010, he did not seek reelection, but instead worked with his son at their business, Rapid Prototypes. Survivors include his wife, Theresa Jack of the home; son, Kyle Jack and wife, Kelly, of Rogers; brother, Sam Jack of Diamond, Mo.; sisters, Lioba Arrendondo of Carthage, Mo., Teresa Hedge of Webb City, Mo., Zoe Ann Hedge of Diamond, Mo., Lorena Messenger of Springfield, Mo., Michelle Smelser of Carthage, Mo., Gabrielle Brookshire of Gerard, Kan.; three grandchildren, Chelsey Cowan and husband, Caleb, Cody Martin and Jacob Jack, all of Rogers. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. A reception will follow. Cremation arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
