Blanca de Conde

Blanca de Conde, 85, of Springdale died Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at The Maples at Har-Ber Meadows. She was born Jan. 13, 1928, in Ecuador to Carlos and Maria Gavilanez. Blanca moved to the United States in 1980. She treasured her family and loved spending time with them. She was a hard-worker, loved to cook and crochet, and was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Miguel Conde; and a daughter, Mary Astudillo. She is survived by four children, Ruth Gavilanez and her children, Arturo Davila, Ivan Pinto, Patricia Guzman and Eduardo Urgiles, Roberto Conde and wife, Adriana, and their children, Jonathan Conde, Roberto Conde Jr., Daniel Conde and Isaac Conde, Cecilia Garcia and husband, Rafael, and their children, Pablo Garcia and Jeannette Scheppler, Carlos Conde and wife, Lupe, and their children, Juan Pedro Conde and Sabrina Conde; her late daughter's son, Ricardo Astudillo; and eight great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be noon on Friday, March 8, at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Tontitown. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home in Springdale.
