Sherry Curran, 62, of Springdale passed away on March 2, 2013, at UAMS in Little Rock. She was born Aug. 31, 1950, in Battle Creek, Mich., to Hirum Eugene and Thelma Lorena Pratt, who preceded her in death along with her brother, Griffith Eugene Pratt. Sherry was a beloved wife, mother, "NeNe Grams," sister and friend to everyone she met. Though her greatest love was her family, a devoted member of First Presbyterian Church in Springdale, Sherry enjoyed traveling, decorating for various events, and volunteering her time and providing for others and decorating for various events. She worked at Sam's Club and managed Curran Feed Store in Elm Springs until retiring in 2009. Survivors include her loving dog, Lilly; husband of 34 years, Don; daughter, Tia Baker Surles and husband, Steven, of Broken Arrow, Okla.; niece, Candee Berck and husband, Kevin, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; nephew, Andrew Franco of Springdale; two cherished grandchildren, Maddison and Cameron of Broken Arrow; sister, Charla Franco and husband, Vic, of Springdale, a large extended family and many close friends. A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at First Presbyterian Church in Springdale. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale.
