Janice Prange Scales passed away peacefully at Mercy Hospital on March 3, 2013. She was born to the late Victor and Alice Beale Prange on Oct. 4, 1948. She was a loving mother, dedicated wife and proud grandmother. Janice enjoyed the privilege of serving in many different elected and volunteer offices at both the national and state level in the Daughters of the American Revolution while living in California. Upon moving to Arkansas, she was actively involved in the local Enoch Ashley Chapter of the DAR. She was heavily involved in charity work with the First Presbyterian Church of Rogers, providing cards and notes of encouragement for shut-ins. After a long bout battling many different ailments, she had been confined to her bed and motorized chair for the last four years. She is survived by her husband, William; daughter, Ali, and son-in-law, Mitch Lemas, and their son, Lucas; son, Victor. Services will be held at a later date.
