F. Franklin Johnson

F. Franklin Johnson, 82, of Overland Park, Kan., passed away on June 24, 2013. Frank was born on Dec. 26, 1930, in Gravette, Ark., to Fred and Ruth (McAllister) Johnson. After graduating from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, Frank became a pharmacist and married the love-of-his-life, Nita Perkins, of Southwest City, Mo. Later in his career, he became a stockbroker with Merrill Lynch, retiring after 38 years of service. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Nita; his two children, Stephan Johnson of Stilwell, Kan., and Stephannie (Bill) Bradley Of Fayetteville, Ark.; five grandchildren, Brian (Cynthia) Bradley, Carrie (Ben) Butler, Adam (Ashley) Bradley, all of Northwest Arkansas, Skye Johnson (Andreas Achleitner) of Dallas, Texas, and Zachary Johnson of Miami, Fla.; and nine great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 1, noon-1 p.m., with a 1 p.m. funeral service to follow, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Overland Park Chapel.
