Reta Mae Thomas

Reta Mae Thomas, 68, of Elkins passed away Friday, June 21, 2013, in Springdale. She was born Nov. 11, 1944, in Hutchinson, Kan., the daughter of James Walker and Minnie Belle Crabtree Burkitt. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Vickie Sue Woodward and grandson, Christopher Woodward. Survivors include her husband, Oran Thomas of the home; three children, James Chrisopher Glenn and wife, Susan of Fayetteville, Carol Wade and husband, Dewayne of Prairie Grove and Ronnie Glenn and wife, Shelly of Wesley; two sisters, Freta Finch of Fayetteville and Jane Burns of Springdale; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at Beard's Funeral Chapel with burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, June 24, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
