Leslie Jeanne Gaffney

Leslie Jeanne Gaffney, 68 of Rogers, went to be with her Lord June 21, 2013, in Bentonville. She was born July 20, 1944, in Peoria, Ill., the daughter of Clarence E. "Casey" and Jeanne A. Platte Jones. Leslie retired from the Walmart home office after 23 years of service. She attended Fellowship Bible Church and loved gardening, traveling, and hiking. She is preceded in death by her father and one son, Damon Neil Gaffney. She is survived by her husband, Eston "Emery" Gaffney whom she married Sept. 29, 1963; one son, Darren Gaffney and wife Michelle of Rogers; her mother, Jeanne A. Jones of East Peoria, Ill.; one brother, Terry E. Jones and wife Cindy of Metamora, Ill.; and two granddaughters, Brett and Sydney Gaffney; three nieces and three nephews. Memorial services will be Tuesday, June 25 at 10 a.m. in the Fellowship Bible Church Training Center Chapel with Pastor Mickey Rapier officiating.
