John Thomas "Trooper" Repass, 64, of Goodman, Mo., died Monday, June 17, 2013, in Gentry, Ark. He was born April 20, 1949, in Washington, D.C., to Charles Guy Repass and Toby Lee Walden Repass. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He had a great passion for all things military and was a "living textbook" concerning military history. He participated in Civil War re-enactments, and was diligent to make sure that the uniforms were exact and correct for the time period they represented, never overlooking even the smallest detail. He had an amazing sense of humor and a generous heart; was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. Trooper is survived by his wife, Glenda Maria Repass; son, Amen Repass and wife, Chevon, of Centerton; daughter, True Repass of Purdy, Mo.; one brother, Charles Repass and wife, Judy, of Washington, D.C; two sisters-in-law, Kathy McCutcheon and husband, Bruce, of Gentry, Ark., Sonja Hampton of Garfield, Ark.; and six grandchildren, Ewan Jackson, Zoe, Devon, Nolan, Elizabeth and Madellyn. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 23, 2013, at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 24, 2103, at Stockdale-Moody Funeral chapel, with Pastor George McBryde officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, with military honors provided by the Missouri State Guard.
