Harold G. Mathews

Harold G. Mathews 85 of Rogers, Ark., died June 12, 2013. He was born on March 5, 1928, in Kansas City, Mo., to the late William J. Mathews and Virgie (Snoddy) Heady. He was also preceded in death by his stepson, Scotty Harrison. He was the husband of 44 years to Lora (Villines) Mathews. He loved fishing and hunting. He was a member at the Temple Baptist Church and loved the Lord with all his heart. Harold is survived by his son, William A. Mathews and wife, Chris of Greenville, S.C.; stepson, Bill Harrison and wife, Mary, of St. Louis, Mo.; stepdaughter, Cheryl Briggs of St. Louis, Mo.; sister, Be Bailey and husband, Hal of Overland Park, Kan.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A visitation will be Monday, June 17, 2013, 11 a.m. to 12 noon at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel, with a funeral service to follow.
