Marjorie Veronica Marrs

Marjorie Marrs of Bella Vista, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 26 at her home, after a short illness. She was 93 years old. Marjorie was born in Dawson, Neb., on June 19, 1919, to Anna and David Kean. She married the love-of-her-life, Frank Marrs, in 1941. They raised three sons, Gary (Tammy) of Colorado Springs, Colo., David (Donna) of Bella Vista, and Bob (Jill) of Lake City, Minn. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband and two siblings. She is survived by her three sons; four sisters; and several grand- and great-grandchildren. Marjorie enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, playing cards, volunteering at the library, and most of all, being with her family. She will be dearly missed. A celebration of her life will be Friday, June 7 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Bella Vista. There will be a rosary at 9:30 a.m. and the funeral mass at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Bella Vista Library; or the Women's Club at St. Bernard's in memory of Marjorie Marrs.
