Dennis Nathan Carter

Dennis Nathan Carter, "Jumper," 53, of Springdale, Ark., passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at the Regency Hospital in Fayetteville. Dennis was born on May 10, 1960, in Little Rock, Ark., a son of Samuel Nathan Carter and Ruth Eloise Dove Carter. He married Diane Marie Carter on May 26, 2007, in Springdale. Dennis was a graduate of the Springdale High School and was a truck-driver for the Allen's Canning Company. He loved the outdoors, especially sky-diving, riding horses, motorcycling, bull-riding and was a pilot. Dennis attended Elmdale Baptist Church in Springdale. He is survived by his wife, Diane, of the home; Mother, Eloise (Carter) Graham of Springdale; two sons, Nathan and wife, Sarah Carter, of Conway, and Thomas Frangipani of Springdale; one daughter, Krystal Sauter of Springdale; two brothers, Steve Graham of Huntsville and Dennis and wife, Terrie Graham, of Goshen; one sister, Teresa and husband, Bill Willard, of Springdale; and one grandson, Zachary Stilwell of Conway. He was preceded in death by one sister, Tracy Carter McLaughlin. Funeral services will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Chapel on Monday, June 3, 2013, at 10 a.m. Pastor Jeff Rhoades will officiate the service, with burial being held at the Wilson Cemetery, under the direction of the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale.
