Woodrow Hodger Nichols

Woodrow Hodger Nichols, 74, of Rogers, Ark., died Monday, July 29, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice - Legacy in Bentonville, Ark. He was born on Aug. 20, 1938, to Woodrow Dewitt Nichols and Margaret Campbell Nichols in Ward County, Texas. He married Dorothy "Ellen" Nichols on Easter of 1980 in Bolivar, Mo. He was a truck driver for Walmart and retired in 2002. He attended the Church of Christ in Pea Ridge. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and his wife, Dorothy "Ellen" Nichols. He is survived by one son, James Nichols of Bella Vista, Ark.; one daughter, Debbie Fisher and husband, Bob, of Goshen, Ark.; one brother, John Nichols and wife, Donna, of Pea Ridge, Ark.; two sisters, Jeanette Vanlaningham of Pea Ridge, Ark., Sarah Green and husband, Donnie, of Pea Ridge, Ark.; and two grandchildren. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark.
