Virginia Maybelle Connell

Virginia M. Connell passed away July 27, 2013, at Windcrest Health and Rehab. She was born on Oct. 9, 1918, in West Frankfort, Ill., daughter of Clarence and Lena Freeman. She was reunited in Heaven with her husband of 60 years, Matthew; son, M. Scott; her parents; and one brother and sister, Clarence Freeman and Leona Olin. Survivors include daughters, Rebecca Freeman of Barling, Susan Neveu and husband, Paul, of Springdale, Kathy Connell of Claremont, Calif.; brother, Orville Freeman of Howard Lake, Min.; sister, A. Holly Raymer of Manchester, Mo.; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was dedicated to her family and the Lord. She was a Baptist. A private service will be held for family only.
