Bob Carr

Ralph Bobby Carr, 78, of Springdale, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Shiloh Nursing & Rehab. He was born Oct. 9, 1934, in New York, N.Y., the son of Ralph and Ofelia Carrasquillo. Bob served in the United States Air Force from 1952-1956. He also flew as a charter pilot for many years and retired as an insurance agent. He volunteered at the Jones Center for six years. Bob enjoyed big band music, flying, traveling and food. His most rewarding accomplishment was raising his son, Steven, to be the wonderful man that he is today. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Teresa Burgess Carr; his son, Steven Main and wife, Erin; two granddaughters, Lauren Sisemore and Molly Sisemore; brother-in-law, Bruce Burgess; nephew, Bryan Burgess; and niece, Brianna Burgess. The family would like to extend their most heartfelt gratitude for the loving care and compassion shown by the staff of Shiloh Nursing & Rehab where he resided for the past 4 ½ years.
