Paul Harold Burgess

Paul Harold Burgess, 68, of Huntsville, Ark., died July 25, 2013, at his home. He was born Sept. 28, 1944, near Marble, Ark., the son of Leonard Farris and Allie Livingston Taylor Burgess. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Army. He worked as a tractor repair, sales and parts man for B & B Implement Co. and in his own shop. His favorite pastime was fishing, especially with his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Charles "Sonny" Burgess; two sisters, Goldie Burgess and Lois Burgess; and a granddaughter, Tosha Lynn Humble. Survivors include his wife, Charlene Givens Burgess of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Wynonia and Vail Boller, and Samantha and Robert Eades, all of Huntsville, Ark.; five grandchildren, Chris Phillips, Chanda Humble, Colin Boller, Shelbi Eades and Valeri Eades, all of Huntsville, Ark.; one sister and brother-in-law, Christine and JT Grigg of Huntsville, Ark.; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Funeral servies will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, in the Brashears Funeral Home chapel, with The Rev. Shane Thomas officiating. Interment will be in the Venus Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home, www.brashearsfuneralhome.net, at Huntsville. Pallbearers will be Vail Boller, Robert Eades, Jeff Ellis, Jeff Givens, Don Grigg and Kenny Burgess. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Hudson, Paul Gifford, Ed Falkner, JL Parker, John Chatham, Charles Chatham, Randy Grigg and Jr. White. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with the family present.
