Joy Russell

Joy Russell, age 86, of Springdale went to be with the Lord on July 24, 2013, at the Earlene Howard Hospice House in Springdale. She was born July 30, 1926, the daughter of Ivan and Josie Journey Golding. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Freedom Fellowship Church in Tontitown. Ms. Russell enjoyed reading, going to church and Bible study. She is survived by one son, Bobby Russell and his wife, Angie, of Springdale; two daughters, Diane Marshall and her husband, Bryce, of Greenwood, Ark., and Debye Word and her husband, Sammy, of Bearden, Ark.; three brothers, Dale Golding of California, Daryl Golding of Aurora, Mo., Doc Golding of Cypress, Kan.; two sisters, Wanda Malone of Missouri and Danna Carter of Kansas; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at Freedom Fellowship Church in Tontitown on Aug. 17, 2013, at 11 a.m. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
