Dorothy Jean Cochran

Dorothy Jean Cochran, 77, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died July 26, 2013, at Northwest Medical Center, Springdale, Ark. Born Dec. 17, 1935, in Newark, N.Y., she was the daughter of Leslie Gould and Jessie Griffin Gould. She was born and raised in New York, but also lived in Charleston, S.C. She was a homemaker and seamstress. On June 28, 1969, she married Giles Cochran in Atlanta, Ga. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sherry McJunkin; and one brother, David Gould. Survivors include her husband, Giles, of the home; two sons, Paul Clingerman Jr. and wife, Char, of Farmington, N.Y., and Wesley Clingerman and wife, Anita, of Wahiawa, Hawaii; two daughters, Annette Freeman and husband, Robert, of Springdale, Ark., and Yvonne Temple and husband, Tim, of Gentry, Ark.; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, Eddie Gould of Butler, N.Y.; and one sister, Eleanor Shaft of Wolcott, N.Y. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Ark. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs.
