Judy A. Carter

Judy A. Carter, 70, of Rogers passed away July 22, 2013, in Bentonville. She was born Oct. 19, 1942, in Lowell, Ark., the daughter of Robert and Mabel Birch Douthit. She was a homemaker. Preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Jerry Goats. Survived by her husband, Joe Carter of the home, they were married Jan. 3, 1967; one daughter, Diana Carter Vega and husband, Miguel Angel Vega; one brother, Kenneth and wife, Nettie, of Pea Ridge; two sisters, Erma Nelson and husband, Walt, of Maples, Fla., and Letha Beaty and husband, Gary, of Franklin, Tenn.; two grandsons, Aaron and Austin Giese; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and her special friends, Hazel Windman and Sissy Rivers. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 26, at Bland Cemetery, Bentonville. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th St., Rogers.
