Benjamin W. Tuttle

Lance Cpl. Benjamin W. Tuttle, 19, of Gentry, Ark., passed away July 14, 2013, at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany. He was born Oct. 19, 1993, in Springdale. Benjamin graduated from Gentry High School. He was assigned to the Marine Aircraft Group 11, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing at Marine Corps Air Station in Miramar, Calif. Benjamin was a member of the Highfill Baptist Church; he also enjoyed fishing, surfing and airplanes. He is preceded in death by his father, Steven Tuttle on May 5, 2003; his paternal grandfather, Jackie Tuttle on May 16, 2012. After the passing of his father, Jackie and Faye Tuttle adopted Benjamin. Survivors his maternal grandmother, Faye Seabolt Tuttle of Gentry; three brothers, Brandon Lee Tuttle of Russellville, Ricky Tuttle of Rogers and Cameron Shane Freeman of Russellville; three uncles, Mike Tuttle of Gentry, Tracy Tuttle of Rogers, Kelly Tuttle of Porter, Ind.; one aunt, Christi Curry of Gentry; and many cousins and friends. Visitation will be 8 a.m. to noon on Thursday, July 25, 2013, and funeral services will be 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 221 W. Main, Gentry, Ark., with Pastor Roger Robins and Pastor Donnie Millsap officiating. Burial will follow in the Coffelt Cemetery at Vaughn. The family would like to thank United States Marines for all the love and support they have given to them. Benjamin decided to be a organ donor and that wish was also fulfilled.
