Grant Adolph Coonrod Jr.

Grant Adolph Coonrod Jr., 54, of Bentonville, Ark., died July 18, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center, Rogers, Ark. Born June 14, 1959, in San Jose Calif., he was the son of Grant Coonrod Sr. and Donna Farnsworth Coonrod. He moved to Arkansas in 1972 from California and was a trailer maintenance inspector for Walmart. On Sept. 29, 1979, he married Shirley Case in Highfill, Ark. Grant was a member of First Baptist Church, Gentry, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Shirley, of the home; two sons, Steve Coonrod and Jeff Coonrod, both of Centerton, Ark.; granddaughter, Jessie Coonrod; his parents, Grant and Donna Coonrod of Highfill, Ark.; and one brother, Chris Coonrod and wife, Julie, of Gentry, Ark; and two nieces and three nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, July 21, 2013, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Ark., with Pastor Mike Walker officiating.
