Billie Sue Evans, 88, of Clarksville, Arkansas, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013 in Clarksville, Arkansas. She was born June 16, 1925 in Booneville, Arkansas to Clarence Young and Ruby (Yarborough) Glover. She was a beloved wife and mother. Billie Sue grew up going to the First Baptist Church in Booneville but in the last 14 years she resided in Clarksville where she attended the First United Methodist Church in Clarksville. She was a 50 year member of the P.E.O. Club. She enjoyed her roses and the piano. She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, J.H. Evans and one brother, C.Y. Glover and her parents before mentioned. Graveside services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, July 22, 2013 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Booneville, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home. She is survived by one daughter, Laura Harwell and Husband Johnny of Clarksville, Arkansas; one son, Robert H. Evans of Clarksville, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Ashley Stone, Jeptha H. Evans III, Rachel Robinson and husband, Scott, and Jenny Mikles; two great-grandchildren, Riley Evans and Parker Robinson; two step grandchildren, Dory O'Neal and Kay Cloar; two step great grandchildren, Jenna Staub and Henry Cloar. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 535, Clarksville, Arkansas, 72830. The family will visit with friends from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday, afternoon at Roberts Funeral Home.
