Berta Gene Kinder

Berta Gene Kinder, 76, of Centerton, Ark., died Monday, July 15, 2013, at her home. She was born on April 1, 1937, in Sturkie, Ark., to Abe Hammond and Alma Walker Hammond. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren, camping, spending time in the garden and time with her siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lowell Kinder; daughter, Debra Kinder. She is survived by three sons, Ron Kinder and wife, Shelia, of Olathe, Kan., Steve Kinder and wife, Robin, of Hiwasse, Ark., Richard Kinder and wife, Tina, of Bella Vista, Ark.; one daughter, Linda Rohrbach and husband, Kenny, of Centerton, Ark.; one brother, Johnny Hammond of Salem, Ark.; two sisters, Jula Scott and husband, Joe, of West Plains, Mo., Lora Aldridge and husband, Charles, of Sturkie, Ark.; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the Bella Vista Church of Christ Fellowship Hall, with a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013, at the Bella Vista Church of Christ. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark.
